School Programs

School Programs

All school programs use fun, educational, hands-on activities which encourage investigation and discovery with the natural world and are customized for all grade levels.  We are in the process of expanding our school program options. More information will be coming soon. If you are interested in a program for your school please Contact Us.

Past programs we have offered include:

  • Field trips to Miller Woods covering topics including ecology, bird habitats & adaptations, pond habitats, and forest ecosystems
  • Classroom programs have covered watershed geography & ecology, pond life, bird adaptations, salmon biology and anatomy, and insects.

Salmon Watch
Beginning Fall 2018 we will be running Salmon Watch programs with Yamhill County middle and high school students. Salmon Watch is an experiential, environmental education curriculum centered around salmon ecology. The program provides classroom curriculum, a field trip to a local stream, and service learning projects to middle and high school students. Follow this link to learn more.
