New! Jr Naturalist Program (12-15 years)

This program is perfect for teens who love the camp experience and are ready for more. Interested teens will fill out an easy application. Those accepted to the program will be required to complete a fun, one-day training and sign up to volunteer for one week of summer camp (additional weeks are possible if space allows). At the end of the summer Jr. Naturalists will be thanked with a special celebration.

As a Jr Naturalist you will:

•  Share your curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and nature with the campers.

•  Build leadership skills assisting campers with nature-focused games, crafts, and activities.

•  Practice communication skills while assisting camp counselors and directors in preparing and  leading activities.

•  Learn about local ecology.
