Outdoor Education Adventure (OEA) Camps focus on teaching outdoor science through games and guided inquiry, allowing each participant to come to nature on their own terms. Our staff have a broad range of knowledge about the natural world, and are always looking for teachable moments to engage learners and to cultivate a sense of wonder and curiosity.

Five-year-olds must be in or have completed kindergarten (or equivalent). Younger children should register for our Nature Play Adventures.

Our last summer camp of the year is a slightly more artistic, creative camp. Participants will not only spend the week exploring nature, but will allow their imagination to shine, too. At the beginning of the following week, we'll celebrate with a video of our shadow puppet theater creation on our "Play, Adventure, Learn" YouTube channel (yes, we went digital). This will replace our traditional celebration at Wortman Park for the 2020 season, but not forever.
