Summer Outdoor Science Educator

The Outdoor Science Educator will work closely with OEA Program Directors to plan and deliver summer camp programs to children and youth between the ages 5 to 12 years. They will be responsible for delivering natural science lessons and activities and guiding campers in exploring and playing in natural settings. This position works as a teammate to other OEA summer camp staff and volunteers and reports directly to the Program Directors. This is a seasonal position. Camps run from the end of June through August, 2024. Up to five, 40-hour work weeks are possible. For more information and to apply, read the position description here>

Outdoor Science Education Intern – Summer

Interns will work as part of a team of educators and camp counselors under the support and guidance of experienced environmental educators. Responsibilities will include assisting with the organization and facilitation of outdoor science summer camp experiences for children and community outreach events during the summer of 2024. Summer Camp Counselors

The Summer Camp Counselor position is an opportunity to learn under the supervision and guidance of experienced environmental educators. In this role, the Summer Camp Counselor will assist with the delivery of Outdoor Education Adventures (OEA) Youth Summer Camps. This position is responsible for the safety, enjoyment, and education of summer camp campers ages 5-12 years. This is a seasonal position. Volunteer Educator

Do you enjoy spending time outdoors? Do you enjoy working with youth and sharing knowledge about the natural world? Join OEA as a Volunteer Educator and help provide students with a hands-on, educational experience which encourages investigation and discovery with the natural world. No experience is necessary. Training, resources, and materials will be provided. Please read the position description for details.
